RUNmeghalaya is an initiative to promote running in Megha-laya and aims at giving runners a proper platform such as major marathons in India to showcase their talent, assist
on their ongoing training and support for the sport of long distance running.

RUNmeghalaya is supporting thirteen runners identified to compete in the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon on the 24th of November, 2013. This project is citizen-funded where about 41 individuals (and growing) and organizations from 20 different cities have come forth to support this project. Citizen-funding is a concept where anyone who is interested in the cause donates and this brings together a larger number of people responsible for the project to materialize. The funds will be used for travel and accommodation, running apparel, registration, training, medical support and other unexpected costs.
